Welcome to the website of the Stalham with Happing Partnership, established in April 2005, one of seven Local Area Partnerships set up in North Norfolk over the past few years. The Partnerships are all-inclusive groups of community representatives working together for the benefit of the local community.
Our overall aim is to serve as a centre for community information and advice services, both for residents and visitors. Each year we produce a comprehensive printed directory of businesses and organisations which is distributed FREE to households in the Happing area. You will also find that information here on our website, by following the relevant links.
The Happing Shop hosts a number of support organisations, including Citizens Advice Bureau, the Happing Community Bank, and training and education services provided by Norfolk Skills Partnership and Learning for Everyone. Part of our brief is the regeneration of the area. Recent successes have included the formation of a bigger Tuesday market, the publication of our second walks book, Happing Trails and Tales, work to support the Poppy Centre, the Happing ‘Bags for Life’ project in conjunction with Stalham High School pupils, and of course our hugely successful Happing Festival, which runs each year during the summer, and features local and national artists, musicians, and craftsmen and women.
We hope you enjoy exploring, and find the information you need. If not, please do contact us. |
