Welcome to the website of the Stalham with Happing Partnership, established in April 2005, one of seven Local Area Partnerships covering North Norfolk. We are a registered charity (No.1133743) and a company limited by guarantee (No. 5413935) dedicated to the regeneration of the market town of Stalham and its hinterland of 20 Broadland and coastal parishes. We aim to enhance training and employment opportunities for the unemployed, and to foster the maintenance, improvement and provision of public amenities, recreational, and leisure facilities within the local area.

We serve as a centre for community information and advice services, both for residents and visitors. Also, we produce a comprehensive printed directory of businesses and organisations each year, which is distributed free to households in the area. You will also find that information here on our website.

The Happing Shop hosts a number of support organisations including Citizens Advice Bureau, Norfolk Credit Union, Learning for Everyone, Connexions and Norfolk Adult Education.  We publish distinctive local walks books, ‘Water to Land’ and ‘Happing Trails & Tales’ and run an annual ‘Happing Festival’  betweenJune and September featuring Art, Music, Performing Arts and community events.
The Partnership is supporting the completion of the Poppy Centre project in Stalham and is bidding to acquire the redundant Stalham Station site and the old Potter Heigham School from the County Council, for future community use. We have lodged funding bids to construct a Safe Cycle Pathway between Ingham and Stalham and are supporting the Three Rivers Way Association in its efforts to deliver a Safe Cycle Pathway from Potter Heigham to Hoveton.

We hope you enjoy exploring our website and find the information you need. If not, please do contact us.
